Denco Diesel and Turbo is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Denco Diesel and Turbo collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Privacy

We value the relationship we have with you, our customer, and our promise to you is that we will handle all data we collect securely, sensitively and with proper regard for your privacy. This promise is incorporated into our Privacy Policy set out below.

The information you provide us is used for billing and delivery purposes and to measure customer interest in our products. When you order from us we maintain your name, postal and email addresses, and payment and order processing information. We use this information only to ensure we can deliver to you a superior service, including advising you of our products, services etc., and to administer our business.

If you provide us with your email address we will only use it to contact you about your order, answer a query from you, or to send you special offers from time to time. Transmissions sent from and to us are routinely monitored for quality control and systems administration.

Customers may update their information at any time by so advising us. If Customers wish to see the details we maintain on them in our customer file, they may do so by sending a written and signed request to us.

To make our website perform better, we make use of 'cookies'. A 'cookie' is a feature built into your computer that assigns you a 'user ID' – they let us know where on our website you have visited, in what order and how often. Cookies only provide us with aggregate statistical data and do not record personal information such as your name, address or email address. Denco Diesel and Turbo and GDPR

DENCO DIESEL AND TURBO welcomes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as an important step forward in streamlining data protection requirements across the EU. DENCO DIESEL AND TURBO will comply with applicable GDPR regulations as a data processor when they take effect on 25th May 2018. Similar to existing legal requirements, compliance with the GDPR requires a partnership between DENCO DIESEL AND TURBO and our customers in their use of our services. DENCO DIESEL AND TURBO will comply with the GDPR in the delivery of our service to our customers. We are also dedicated to helping our customers comply with the GDPR. We have analysed the requirements of the GDPR and are working to make enhancements to our products, contracts, and documentation to help support DENCO DIESEL AND TURBO’s and our customers’ compliance with the GDPR.

The procedure for gaining access is as follows:

  • An individual will need to make a request for access in writing, addressed to the Privacy Officer (see contact details below)
  • An individual must provide sufficient details of the information requested
  • Denco Diesel and Turbo will need to verify the identity of that individual
  • Denco Diesel and Turbo may need to charge an administrative fee to cover the cost of access (however, there is no fee for lodging a request for access). Denco Diesel and Turbo will notify the individual of the proposed fee before proceeding
  • Denco Diesel and Turbo will respond to a request as soon as reasonably practicable but by no later than 30 days of receipt of the request
  • Denco Diesel and Turbo may deliver the requested information either by mail or by email.

Denco Diesel and Turbo will take all reasonable measures to aim to ensure that the personal information it holds is accurate, complete and up to date. Please contact the Privacy Officer if you believe that the information we have about you is not accurate, complete or up to date.
