This is the number Borgwarner supply to the vehicle manufacturer (eg. HYUNDAI)

SERVICE TURBO PART NO: 5303 988 0145

This is the number Borgwarner supply to their aftermarket distributors (eg. Denco Diesel and Turbo)

OEM PART NUMBER : 28200-4A480

This is the part number Hyundai assigned to the turbocharger Borgwarner supplied them.

These turbochargers are all identical in manufacturing processes and quality assurance checks, they are just tagged a little differently for sale to the different markets.

This is the number Borgwarner supply to the vehicle manufacturer (eg. CATERPILLAR)

SERVICE TURBO PART NO:  179578

This is the number Borgwarner supply to their aftermarket distributors (eg. Denco Diesel and Turbo)

OEM PART NUMBER: 0R6889 (REMAN CAT) / 106-7407 (NEW CAT)

This is the part number CATERPILLAR assigned to the turbocharger Borgwarner supplied them.

Borgwarner also supply the aftermarket with remanufactured turbochargers as a more cost effective option.

We will always state if the turbocharger is in fact factory reman or new, however another way to identify this is the part number.

Example:

177282 JOHN DEERE TURBO WILL BE SUPPLIED AS A 477282 IF IT IS FACTORY REMANUFACTURED.

Notice the first number changes from a 1 to a 4, this represents factory remanufactured.

These turbochargers still come with manufacturer’s warranty.

We also remanufacture Borgwarner turbochargers that are generally no longer available to the aftermarket in- house using only Genuine Borgwarner parts.

The way to identify this by part number is to look for an  R on the end of the original number:

5326 988 6500 will become 5326 988 6500R

We will also always state that the turbo has been reconditioned.

All our reconditioned turbochargers are backed with 12 months warranty and after sales service.
